Así que Barney se da cuenta de que se equivocaba y de que tiene que ir a decirle a Ted que siente algo por Robin para que dejen de acostarse cuando van a pelearse. Barney otra vez muestra que tiene corazón.

Robin: I'm taking out the trizzash.If you're looking for Ted, he left.And our little arrangement is over,by the way.
B: Really? That's awes... Full.
R: Awesful?
B: Yeah, it's just awesful. What happened?
R: He just insisted. He said he couldn't do it anymore because someone's gonna get hurt. I think we all know who he meant by that.
B: Do we?
R: Isn't it obvious?
B: Is it?
R: Yeah. It's Ted.
B: Oh.
R: You know what a romantic he is.He can't separate the physical from the emotional. He's all like...

B: I love you.
R: Exactly. He's not like you, you know? Besides, we're friends. I don't want to screw that up by getting involved. Dating friends never works out. So you want to get a taco?
B: A taco?
R: You love them, remember?
B: Right.
R: Come on, I'm hungry.

¿Por qué me encanta Barney Stintson?

Marshall: Hey. Ted said that right before the accident his life flashed before his eyes. You know, all the stuff he loves. Did that happen to you?

Barney: Oh, yeah.

Lilly: I know what he saw: boobs.

M: Suits

M: A suit of boobs. A giant boob wearing a suit of money.

L: And the boob is lactating scotch.

M: I guess that's pretty much everything you love, right?

Barney:Yeah, pretty much.

Bueno, está la parte de que es el personaje con el que más me río de toda la serie. Con él, de él, simplemente el mejor. Siempre trata de ligar de maneras estúpidas, siempre consigue lo que quiere, va directo, no para, me encanta.

Pero aparte de esta faceta de vividor, lo que más me gusta es la parte tierna que tiene dentro. Me siento identificado, no soy el tipo de persona que se siente cómodo aireando sus sentimientos, a veces me hace falta siento que voy a reventar. Pero normalmente no, estoy bien tal y como estoy y solo suelo dejar a un íntimo círculo que sepa como me siento, soy algo frío en cuanto a eso. Sin embargo, siempre trato de reírme y de hacer el tonto, nadie va a llorar conmigo pero cuando se trata de pasárselo bien todo el mundo se une.

Por eso me encanta Barney, por su parte más tierna. Porque cuando dice que sí, que le encanta todo eso lo hace mirándola a ella, a Robin. A la persona de la que se ha enamorado. Por eso me encanta Barney, porque simplemente es el mejor.
